At HOTEL POS, we respect the privacy of hotel operators, their staff, and their guests. This Privacy Policy outlines how information is managed within our property management and point-of-sale tools designed for small hotels and motels. Our website and associated online documentation are hosted by Wix.
The app may collect and store account information for staff members, guest reservation details (including contact information), folio and payment records, and room housekeeping and maintenance reports. App diagnostics may also be collected to ensure operational performance. If enabled by the business, the app may store images of guest identification documents or guest signatures to facilitate check-in procedures.
This information is used solely to operate hotel and motel management features, facilitate check-in and check-out, maintain accurate business and operational logs, provide technical support, and comply with hospitality laws and business record obligations. Staff, business, and guest data may be associated with specific reservations, folios, or hotel records for consistency in operations.
The app is intended to track payment records for internal hotel operations as part of the property management system. HOTEL POS does not provide direct credit card or bank payment processing (such as Stripe or Square), nor does it claim PCI compliance or secure card payment handling capabilities. All financial data recorded within the app is for record-keeping purposes only.
App data may be stored locally on the user's mobile or front-desk device and/or within cloud systems configured by the business. As the host of our website, certain technical metadata regarding site access may be processed by Wix to ensure functionality and security.
